Hello

 

I have been active in public safety and communications for over a decade. My experience as the Public Affairs Chief for the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and as the deputy director for the Delaware County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management has provided insight and knowledge which has helped hone my skills in team building, communications, public safety, and emergency response.

 

I am experienced in public speaking, media interviews, grant work, and planning, Joint Information System/Center management, crisis communications, internal and external public relations. I am a hazmat technician and hold an amateur radio extra class license. I am the past coordinator for the Delaware County Special Needs Registry and a FEMA training course instructor. I hold an Ohio Certified Emergency Manager (OCEM) designation through the Emergency Management Association of Ohio (EMAO).
